"The hilarious dialog and the tension between Savannah and Rafe will delight fans of chick-lit mysteries and romantic suspense." Jo Ann Vicarel, Library Journal

Savannah Martin has always been a good girl, doing what was expected and fully expecting life to fall into place in its turn. But when her perfect husband turns out to be a lying, cheating slimeball—and bad in bed to boot—Savannah kicks the jerk to the curb and embarks on life on her own terms. With a new apartment, a new career, and a brand new outlook on life, she’s all set to take the world by storm.

If only the world would stop throwing her curveballs...

Savannah Martin’s real estate career has been an uphill battle. As far as Savannah is concerned, her personal zenith was getting Aislynn Turner and Kylie Mitchell into their dream home, a Victorian cottage in the hip and happening historic district of East Nashville, last January.

That was six months ago, and now the dream has turned sour. Someone is sending Aislynn and Kylie threatening letters, warning them to get out while they can. Aislynn is terrified and Kylie is ready to cut her losses.

But finding a poison pen is only the beginning. When Kylie is attacked and the previous owner of the house is killed, the hunt is on for a murderer, and Savannah is determined to get to the bottom of what’s going on before Aislynn and Kylie have to give up their dream home, and maybe each other, in the process.

“I have loved this series since book one and have enjoyed being along for the ride as Savannah has grown from the princess on the hill who tried to live up to her mother’s outdated expectations into a strong woman who stands up for her own beliefs and the man she loves. Jenna Bennett has tackled a sensitive subject with honesty, Southern charm, and laugh out loud humor. And the series keeps getting better. I can’t wait for the next one.” Amazon Reviewer Karli

Rafe and Savannah

I love this series, one of the very few I will pre-order and autobuy. Jenna Bennett has a way of capturing my attention from the first page and holding it till the very last page. She blends humor, suspense, relationship and mystery into storylines that keeps me coming back for more. I can't wait to see what happens next. But best of all is the relationship between Savannah and Rafe. It's a Wow! This book takes place a month after the last one ends. Savannah is now five months pregnant and it is the height of summertime in Nashville. She learns former clients from a previous book are getting threatening letters when they advise her they may have to sell the house they love because of the threat. Savannah begins to investigate, but the house's previous owner is murdered before she can talk to him and then one of the current homeowners is attacked in a home invasion. Can she solve the mystery behind the threat before it turns on her?

Deliciously Provocative!!!

I downloaded this book when it released at midnight & then read it straight through until 3:30 am!! I love this series! The relationship between Savannah & Rafe absolutely sizzles. The way Rafe treats Savannah like she is the most precious living breathing person on the planet just touches my heart. And while Rafe would love to wrap Savannah & their unborn child in Kevlar bubble wrap, he also realizes she is capable of taking care of herself, which she proves continually. It is the smoldering chemistry & all the elements of suspense that kept me glued to this book from beginning to end!

Fantastic Duo

Jenna Bennett has a goldmine with Savannah and Rafe. She keeps the story fresh and allows the characters to grow. I liked that she introduced another handsome cop and that the story focused a little more on Rafe and Savannah's relationship. Yes they're married and she's preggers, but I really enjoyed the communication between them. Rafe is getting better about showing his love for Savannah and not afraid to do so in front of others. Savannah is getting surer about his love and growing in confidence because of it. I'm looking forward to the baby coming and where that takes this fantastic couple.

Savannah and Rafe, again

"Adverse Possession" is the latest installment of Savannah and Rafe. Each of Jenna Bennett's books seem to get better and better. Once you get to know Savannah and Rafe, you feel like they are family. In this story, once again Savannah gets involved with a murder -- but at least she didn't find this dead body! Savannah's friends, Kylie and Aislynn, who recently bought a house, now want to sell the house since Aislynn has been receiving poison pen letters in the mail. Is this just a prank or is someone really out to kill AIslynn? When Savannah connects the letters with the body of the former owner of the house, the police are ready to believe Savannah's ideas that the 2 cases are connected. Who will figure out the connection -- the police or Savannah??? As usual with Bennett's books, this one was hard to put down! Can't wait for the next installment of Savannah and Rafe.

I can't believe that ...

I purchased this book while on my lunch break at work today and have already finished reading it!! Another great story by Jenna Bennett about one of my favorite "book couples" Savannah and Rafe. In this story, a couple who purchased a home through Savannah have been getting poison pen letters and they call Savannah because they're seriously considering selling the house they love. Savannah asks them to give her a day or two to see if she can learn anything about the letters or the letter writer. From there there are twists and turns...murder...break-ins...the usual gamut for Savannah and Rafe. A great read!

I Adore This Series!

I adore this series, and this latest installment is one of the best of all the books. I really like revisiting characters from previous books, and the mystery (while not as intense as in some of the previous books) was nevertheless enthralling. I simply love Savannah and Rafe together, and the author always succeeds in letting us really feel their dedication to each other. Probably my favorite part is how Rafe seems to be thrilled to become a husband, father, and homeowner! I can't imagine ever getting tired of these characters!

Wonderful book

I loved this book! Savannah and Rafe are back. This is one of my favorite series in the world. Savannah is consulted by a couple to whom she sold a house as they are getting anonymous threatening letters that seem to say they should move out. One of the former owners is killed and Savannah thinks it is more than a coincidence. Savannah and Rafe are expecting a baby and They are very happy newlyweds. The action focuses on Nashville and not Sweetwater in this book. The plot was well thought out and kept me guessing. Savannah is getting to be a pretty good investigator if she ever wants to stop selling real estate. A thoroughly enjoyable book!

A Must Read For Mystery Fans....

I am addicted to Savannah Martin Mysteries. I think Ms. Bennett has given this series characters who come to life and an extremely well written book. Savannah and Rafe are settling into their lives and things are going quiet well. Savannah is visited by Aislynn Turner and Kylie Mitchell, her on big sell, about some things going that are going on. Someone is writing them threatening letters, so they are asking Savannah to look into for them. Savannah who has nothing more pressing to do and can't seem to say no to anyone in trouble is on the case. Unfortunately she has poked around enough to get someone's attention. Will it be Detective Gramaldi who saves the day or Rafe? A must read for anyone who loves a good mystery with a dash of humor thrown in.

Another Great Savannah Martin Mystery

I love this series. It's always entertaining. Savannah gets smarter with every case she solves. She works with her new husband, Rafe, and Detectives Grinaldi and Mendoza. Two lesbians who Savannah had sold a house to were getting threatening notes from someone with the gist of get out and then the man who sold the house to them was killed while jogging. Savannah decides to look into it to see if the two cases are related. Things turn for the worse when Kylie, one of the women, gets hit over the head and is hospitalized. Aislynn, the other woman, gets another note and hides out.

Lovely

Love this book! Savannah is full of spunk and never backs down from poking her nose where it doesn't belong! And throw in her "dreamy" man Rafe and sparks will certainly fly in their relationship (or lack thereof sometimes)! They team up reluctantly at first, but there's no way these 2 will stay apart for long! A little humor, a little romance and a lot of mystery and intrigue! Keep them coming, Jenna!
